The Consolidated Irrigation District (CID) operates several wells in the Spokane valley. This wellfield is located off Barker Road, and contains three wells into the Spokane aquifer. Wells such as these provide the water that the Spokane community needs for residential, commercial and industrial use. This single wellfield can pump thousands of gallons per minute from the aquifer - a significant point of discharge of groundwater.
