Lance Hill Observatory
 
The Leo Triplet consists of three galaxies in a distant group in south-central Leo.  They consist of M65, M66 and NGC33628, and all are approximately 31 million light years distant.

These images were all acquired the evening of 21 April 2001 with the Starlight Express MX5/16 camera, remotely operated from a PC in my house.

Enhancement:  gradient filter, dark frame subtracted and non-linear stretch
