The planetary images below were obtained using an un-cooled gray scale QuickCam, mounted at prime-focus on an 8" SCT with no filters, and using the basic software that comes with the camera. Image processing consisted of only minor contrast enhancement! No dark-frames or flat-fields were subtracted. Amazing results given the unsteady seeing conditions the nights of 20 & 21 September 1997. I can't wait to try eyepiece-projection during a night of steady seeing.
