Starlight Xpress MX 5/16 CCD Imaging
I've recently acquired the amazing Starlight Xpress CCD camera (the
MX 5 model, 16 bit version). The American distributors of this British-made
camera is Adirondack Video Astronomy
- they have a lot of technical information posted on their web site regarding
this family of CCD imagers.
On the second night of use I managed to acquire stunning pics
of the Moon and Mars. In the next few weeks I'll post additional
images - be sure to check back later.
